“Soul Searching” – Episode 183 of the Worship Interludes Podcast
I woke up this morning at 5:00 AM for my Tuesday morning workout with my F3 buddies. It was raining outside but headed out to the workout location knowing there was a covered area that we could still meet. After my workout I decided to grab some coffee and park down at one of my favorite quiet locations on our island – the Village Creek Landing. It was dark and rainy so I parked my truck in my normal spot that gives me a great view of the river, marsh, and sunrise. Turned off my truck and let all the inside lights turn off and just sat in the darkness, listening to the rain. It was a peaceful time that led to some honest, raw prayer and soul searching.
Upon returning home I decided to record this interlude in the Key of D minor. I also experimented with recording it on video. The video I made today is vertical on purpose, as I wanted to feature it on my Instagram TV (IGTV). I’d be honored if you consider following that account on Instagram @fredmckinnonmusic.
I hope you enjoy the music.
Grace and peace,
