Hurricane Frances

Funny, the last post in my Blog was about “God’s voice on the water”. We’ve had an eventful Labor Day, as much of the southeastern United States, in dealing with Hurricane Frances. We were blessed in that we only encountered some of the “outer bands” of the hurricane, and did not sustain any serious damage. We’ve got plenty of yard work to do, though!

Today is Tuesday, and we’re still getting a good bit of wind and rain, but nothing like we encountered Sunday evening and Monday (Labor Day). Just for fun (crazy nut that I am), I went out with the camcorder, and made some video “ala Weather Channel”. I got soaked, but it was still a lot of fun. Our prayers are with those who had devastation and loss, and who will say “this was not fun at all!”.
