Hey Ya’ll -
Today is Friday, October 1. I cannot believe that we’re in the final quarter of 2004. At any case, me and the family are headed out this afternoon to go to Hilton Head Island, SC.
I’ll be ministering at Christian Renewal Church there on Sunday AM. It’s a great place to minister – the church is very friendly. Gilbert Posey is the Pastor, and he was actually my pastor back in high school when our families created a small church in McRae, GA where I grew up.
I’ll be “ministering alone” for the most part – no big band or extra musicians and singers – just myself. Seems like we are headed into a place where we’ll just minister in worship and Word, allowing the people to soak and be blessed by God while blessing Him with their worship … at least, that’s the idea. It will be sort of like a “concert” as well, and I hope to play some of the new songs I’ve been working on.
The church there has always blessed us letting us stay at a great condo on the beach, so we’re all looking forward to some quality family time and “R&R” this afternoon and Saturday!
