Hey Ya’ll -
Well, it’s been a while since I said “hello”, so …. “hello”.
This past week was crazy … Joy had a fitness convention in Hilton Head, SC from Thursday - Saturday, so I took myself and the kids and headed for my parents in McRae, GA. We had a great time - we did all the fun stuff like 4-wheeler rides, fishing, grilling out, etc. Sunday was jam-packed with church stuff. Joy reported for jury duty on Monday morning and I was sweating it out - fearful that she’d be on jury duty all day, all week - leaving me as Mr. Mom (not such a bad thing, by any means!) … but fortunately (for me and the kids, ha!) she was dismissed Monday morning.
Some friends of ours lost their 22-year old son this past week. The funeral was Monday morning. This young man had confessed Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior so I know he’s in a better place. It’s still hard to see such a young man’s life stolen away from him. I pray for his family and cannot imagine what it must be like to experience that.
Our church is in a special time of prayer and fasting between now and Easter. I’m seeking God for some specific things and pray that His wisdom will prevail regarding some decisions I’m making regarding my upcoming piano recording.
Gosh - I’ve got lots I could say, but haven’t the time. I’ve got a new record to mix for The Difference Ministries and will soon be producing a new worship record from a local worship band, formerly called 70times7. I’m looking forward to this as the band has developed quite a following and is playing all over the country now.
If you’re up for some good reading - check out some of my other “blog links” on the right - I’ve added a few that are very insightful.
For now - that’s it - stay tuned for more.
For the Kingdom,
Fred
