Denny Silva is one great guy … he’s a friend, a co-minister (plays acoustic guitar on our worship team at my church), and he’s also my CPA/Accountant. One thing is for sure – Denny always has a joke or something to make you laugh. Add his wife Louann into the picture and put those two nuts together, and they’ll have you laughing so hard it hurts.

My kids love Denny – but I suppose he must think that we need some parental guidance. I assume so because of the email he sent me … here it is, below …

Tough Love vs. Spanking

Most of America’s populace thinks it very improper to spank children, so I have tried other methods to control our kids when they have one of “those moments”.

One that I found very effective is for me to just take the child for a car ride and talk.

They usually calm down and stop misbehaving after our little car ride together.

I’ve included the photo below of one of my sessions, with my son, in case you would like to use the technique.
