Hey Everybody!

HAPPY NEW YEAR! Phew – 2006 is gone, and in comes 2007. Last night we had a great time in celebration over at Jekyll Island for their first ever New Year’s Eve Celebration. I’m so looking forward to what God has in store for this year in our lives as we seek His will in how He may use us for His Kingdom.

Well – I awakened this AM to discover good news – I’m honored to announce that apparently, I’ve made it to the FINALS in IndieHeaven.Com’s “Momentum Awards” in two categories:

* Instrumental Artist of the Year
* Worship Artist of the Year

I’m overwhelemed that my peers, family, friends, and fans would show their support so strongly that I’d be able to get this far. There is one final phase of “voting” for this month – January. If you already voted “last year” (grin), you can vote again in the Finals.

I realize that my sharing this is seemingly nothing short of “self promotion” … but I can only assure you that in my heart, I’m humbled and grateful for the opportunity to share the music God’s given me, and as a steward of those talents I’m simply sharing the opportunity with you so that I can let my “light shine” – not for my own glory, but for God’s!

So, I’ll do my part in making my fans, friends, and family aware of the opportunity … and I hope if you’ve been blessed by the music and believe in what I’m doing … you could help out and spread the word to your friends, family, lists, etc. Just invite them to checkout the music and if they are blessed, encourage them to vote. Of course, I’m not the only artist asking for support, so checkout everybody else, too!

One of my New Year’s Resolutions (and there are many) is to be more frequent on blogging. I’ve always said it’s therapeutic for me, and if nobody ever read a single entry, it sure is good for me to just to type/journal and “get it out”.
