I’m a proud husband and bragging one today … Joy (my gorgeous wife) decided Saturday morning that she was going to signup at the last minute and run the Super Dolphin Race on St. Simons Island. They have a 10K, a 5K, and 1-mile “Fun Run”.

Joy used to run a good bit, but not since kids – she’s not raced or even run consistently in 6+ years – since our first was born. I know she loves it, though and I encouraged her to “go for it”.

As you can see below, she smoked’em. She did the 5K (3.1 miles, I think) in about 27:51 … 1st place in her age group (35-39). My sister-in-law, Zandy, got 3rd as well (tall, right).

As if that weren’t enough, she came home and slammed me in FoozBall, 10-1. Yikes. She can’t play piano, though! (grin)

Congrats, Baby! You are bad to da bone.
