Worship Interludes
Posted on March 9th, 2007 in Old-General by Fred McKinnonFriends, Family, fans -
It’s 12:40 AM EST – way past bed time. I took some time tonight to record a quick “Worship Interludes” podcast. (web | iTunes) For those who may not know about this, it’s a very RAW, UN-PRODUCED, NOT-POLISHED podcast … a spontaneous time of worship, prayer, ministry, meditation, etc. The Producer in me can’t stand to track something without rehearsing, without EQ, Editing, Pitch Correction (believe me, I need LOTS of that!), etc … but Worship Interludes isn’t meant to be “clean” … it’s meant to be raw .. unashamed … heartfelt .. and Spirit-led.
The purpose of Worship Interludes is to give people a short break … and “interlude” in their day … for a time where I can lead them in worship. As a Worship Leader, especially one who understands the internet, podcasting, and technology, I feel that it’s a great way to use the gifts God has blessed me with for people all over the world.
So – find yourself a few minutes … at work, before work, for quiet time – devotion .. and subscribe to Worship Interludes. Don’t go in with a heart to judge the sound or quality – or you’ll be sorely disappointed – go in saying “I need a break … I need to close my eyes, and worship with Fred .. with Jesus .. with the Father .. and hear what HE (Father God) has to say to me.
Tonight’s episode got very strong around 13:00 as I began to feel a strong prophetic cry that people needed to release some hurts, unforgiveness, etc. If that may be you – there is ministry waiting for you now.
