Pastor Todd was really excited about showing me this water gun that he got for the kids game that night. Picture old school "Super Soaker." Since he pointed the thing at his wife, Tammy, I was more that interested in seeing how he would handle this situation. What I didn't expect was that the nozzle shot straight sideways, meaning, into my face and the whole top half of my shirt. Now this will come as a shock to those of you that know how much of a clean freak I am, but I actually enjoyed the whole thing. It's like a light bulb came on in my 30 year old brain and said "laugh, stupid!" Which I did. For about 5 minutes. Perhaps the next 30 years of my life can be known by historians as the "laughter period" where I decided to loosen up and have more fun.
