My Video featured on homepage of GodTube.Com

Hey Ya’ll -
Just a quick note to say that “Fix My Eyes” is currently featured on the Home Page at GodTube.Com. I have no clue how long it’s been there (I think just this AM, because I uploaded it yesterday), and I have no clue how long it may be there – it may already be gone by the time you read this. I just saw this site the other day and decided to upload a few videos to it. It’s a copy/knockoff site of “YouTube”, but obviously, targeted only to the spiritual community.
If you have time, jump over to GodTube and play “Fix My Eyes” and leave a rating/comment. You have to signup to leave a rating or comment, but it’s free, and will enable you to comment on other videos and/or upload your own.
If the video isn’t featured on the homepage anymore, you can still view it at my profile:

Well… of course I loved the video… but God tube? I mean is this thing really a good idea? Now every person that thinks they are a teacher will be making videos. You know the guy who starts to talk and everyone goes, “Oh no here he goes again.” He will be a God tube celebrity… For example, listen to the guy on God tube who is talking about why Pentecostalism is not scriptural.
Its so off base, and yet there are people embracing it as truth… and it must be, its on God tube right? Yikes! If he was on you tube… people would write it off… but since he is on God tube… must be correct. (Well enough ranting… you get the idea.) This one scares me.

I’m with you 100%. When I first saw it, I was immediately ticked off – another knockoff .. another way for the Christians to isolate themselves even more. Actually one of the most popular blogs I’ve ever written was about some of the “Myspace” christian sites.
If I were the business owner, I think I’d also be weary of using God’s holy Name as a marketing ploy as well. Just think – the Jews revere His Name so much that they won’t even SAY IT. Yet, somebody sticks it in there as a marketing trick.
So .. I saw the GodTube and thought “geez” … but at the same time, I realized that there is a “niche” there who may enjoy the music, so I figured I’d upload … try to “scatter seed” as much as I can. I’d much rather be featured on the homepage of YouTube, but I’ll take what I can get.
As for the pentecostalism preacher – didn’t listen .. didn’t look … but login, and leave a comment and dog him out!

Actually, God Tube started out as a waterslide at the ill-fated PTL theme park, Heritage USA, put together by the Bakkers…
This has the potential to be crafted into a very funny joke, but I haven’t the time, chap. Best wishes with the video.

You should put your video up on zigvid too! zigvid is a video sharing site with a christian emphasis, but more family-friendly than evangelical in nature. Seriously, check it out!
