iPhone is here tomorrow, iPhone cases are here today

Hey Ya’ll,

I got up super early this morning, and spent some time earlier this week in the late evenings (it’s not been the most restful week) preparing my online e-business for the release of Apple’s new iPhone. I’m not buying a phone (unfortunately, ’cause they are super cool, and AT&T’s new pricing plan looks incredible), but I do have some super-cool cases (and about 5 more to be added later or tomorrow) for the iPhone. I got involved in doing some e-biz/online sales, Ebay, etc., a couple of years ago “on the side” as an additional revenue stream … and hopefully these cases will be good sellers!

    Hey Fred. I’m not sure if you can answer this or not since you may not have one but I remember the deal with the cases for the iPods went something like the leather folios (I suppose like your 1st example) were the best for keeping your iPod intact w/o scratching it. The hard slip cases like the other examples tended to scratch the iPod. Do you know if that’s the case with these as well? I think I like the 1st example anyway, with the clip and it simply hugs the iPhone gently. Any thoughts or favorites yet?

    Hey Conner -

    I can’t say for sure – I have the “Toughskin” for my iPod video, and I don’t think it would’ve scratched it because it’s just a thick rubber surface … and don’t know how rubber could scratch it. There are some other “hard plastic” type cases out there, but I”ve not used them … but I’d say the leather holster would be good, and the rubber toughskin cases would be good.

    I wouldn’t know if it had scratched my iPod because I’ve never taken it back out of the toughskin since I put it in there, actually!
