Revival in Anderson, SC
Posted on August 13th, 2007 in Church Life by Fred McKinnonHey Ya’ll,
I doubt they’d ever label it “revival”, but I’m amazed as I read the “Box Scores” on Tony Morgan’s blog each week and as I read the updates from Pastor Perry Noble from Newspring Community Church in Anderson, SC.
Folks, according to Perry’s blog today, they had 277 people receive Christ yesterday … 387 in the last two weeks. I don’t know about you, but I call that revival. I call that “God is moving, right under our noses”.
Kudos to the team there – they are obviously praying and obeying. Few things excite me more than to know that people who are otherwise lost and hell-bound have come to the saving embrace of Christ.
“God, let it continue, for Your glory!”.

THAT IS AWESOME!
Praise God for His glorious gospel – I’m heading over to their blog right now!
Wow. Praise God!! I think I’ll go and check out their blog as well.
I’ve got my “debriefing” of the Willow Creek Leadership Summit beginning today on my blog. I’ll be cranking out a series of posts with my thoughts on each of the sessions each day.
Be Blessed!

Just an FYI.. Newspring has a streaming video each week of their services (on their website: newspring.cc). I try and watch it every week. It’s good stuff! God is doing incredible things!
