Hey Ya’ll -

By a “quickie”, I’m referring to a quick blog post, of course. I’m swamped, but haven’t blogged to this wonderful community in a COUPLE OF DAYS (gasp!) …. not since my last post on “Worship Q&A” .. which is generating a nice round of comments (some quite humorous, Chuck, ole’ buddy!).

So …

1. JM and Will were both out of school today – JM started having headaches and fever on Saturday. Will’s started yesterday. JM’s fever is pretty much gone .. Will still has a low grade fever. In spite of that … they are all at the BEACH right now – it’s gorgeous and breezy.
2. Church was great yesterday – Worship Confessional will be here soon.
3. Spent most of the day either in planning meeting, on the phone w/ folks about church stuff, and working on the next two weeks’ song lists.
4. Now, while my family enjoys the beach, I’ve gotta go outside and TRY to mow the lawn – it’s been 2+ weeks … and everytime I schedule to mow the lawn, it rains.
5. Joy is going out w/ some girls tonight to watch a movie … I’m feeding the kids supper, putting them to bed, and doing more work.
6. BUMMER. I invested $525 on a big banner ad on Worship Leader Magazine’s “E-Newseletter” that went out this past Friday to promote TheWorshipCommunity.Com Only about 3-4 people signed up from what I can tell. That’s not the ROI I was looking for.
7. I’m glad that UGA won this weekend … we’ll see what happens when they play a real team this coming weekend.
8. I’ve not been eating healthy, nor have I been exercising … it’s downright sinful. Yet, I’m not doing much about it. How’s that for a confessional.
9. My new Mac Pro is finally setup .. I’m working from it now … S-W-E-E-T .. but I’m bummed that it only has 1 Firewire 400 port on the back and no Airport card.
10. What did you REALLY think of when you read the subject of this blog?
