Oh Crud

Posted on October 7th, 2007 in Family, Life and Family by Fred McKinnon

Yep, that’s what we’ve got. Joy was up most of Friday night with the stomach bug and felt lousy all day Saturday. This morning I was getting ready to start the 8:00 AM service when Joy texted my phone: “JM just threw up”. By 11:00, I’m the same way. Now, I’ve got 101 fever, JM, and Andrew – all fever, all stomach yuck.

Pray for us.

Fred

Praying in high gear! The devil is a liar, and the truth is not in him. He has come only to steal, kill and destroy. But Jesus said He came to give life, and life abundantly. My prayer is for the divine virtue of healing to displace the infirmity in your bodies, and that the healing that Jesus has already purchased for you be manifested in a supernatural and powerful way!

Sorry about the crud! Thanks for visiting the blog. We try to keep our sets pretty high intensity. It’s not always the style that I prefer to do – but it’s really not about me, is it? The frustrating thing is the limited amount of quality material in that style. We’re doing the Hillsong London “Above All” which actually has a real Cold Play feel (I have a video of it on my blog from earlier this week). The Pastor’s vision really guides the music selection. That’s probably more than you were looking for, but I thought I’d offer. :)

We missed you. Small group was great. We had some good discussions and really got to know each other better. See you tomorrow (maybe?).

Father, I pray for my brother. I apply the blood of Jesus to the McKinnon household. Wash them all and cleanse away this bug from their bodies. Thank you for your blood that washes them clean and sickness free. I ask for the oil of your Holy Sprit to cover them and soothe them all. Bring comfort right now and calm all of their discomforts. Wrap them in your love tonight FAther. May they feel your bandages all around them and may they feel held tightly by you and loved and cared for by you. Blow away this sickness–Our Healer. Send your ministering angels to help Joy and Fred and these precious ones. Strengthen all of them and bring peace. I pray for justice to be given to your precious ones.
