Cool that your original went over well.
Cool set list. I love “Mighty is the Power”!!! What’s with all the beards?
Hey -
“all the beards”, plural? Am I growing more than one?

Ohhhh yeah…clapping was an issue for us about 7 years ago. We actually had a member back in the day tell everyone not to clap after they sang a song…giving the impression that clapping was of the devil.
We’ve grown a LOT. There are a few folks in the congregation that pretty much get the clapping started naturally…I much rather prefer that method than the “forced clap” from the stage.
Nice beard Fred!
Hey Ben,
Thanks! Glad to know someone else who relates. It’s definitely about growing, learning, and being taught. I kinda felt like some of my time in prayer is making a difference. Not that my goal is to “change” the folks – they are awesome, and love Jesus. But it does excite me for them to feel a bit more comfortable in celebrating and participating in that way.
Glad you like the hair … I think I would’ve shaved already if there were some shaving cream in the house!

Fred, the older you get, the more stoned you look.
COOL!!!!!!!!
(Now if I can just get my wife to let me grow scraggly every once in awhile…)
I’m growing the beard as well, but it’s more for Trunk or Treat than anything.
Never a month goes by without us doing at least a couple Tommy Walker’s. He is one of our favorite worship leaders. We saw him live at Willow Creek the year “Never Gonna Stop” came out and he was just about the best thing at the Arts conference for us, and that was our first time there so everything was wonderful. He, however, was the “wonderful-est ‘ as my son used to say. Thanks for the timely worship confessionals. I like that you are doing them on Sunday while the iron is hot so to speak. keep it up, I’m stealing (oops, borrowing ) ideas as i type here.
