Concert: Lighting of the Tree, Tonight
Posted on November 24th, 2007 in Music by Fred McKinnonHey Everybody:
Happy Thanksgiving (late … more on that later) and Merry Christmas! Just a quick update to those local readers – I will be leading a concert tonight of praise, worship, and Christmas selections at the annual Jekyll Island Christmas Tree Lighting Festival on Jekyll Island, GA. We’ll be doing about 1-1/2 hours of music, including favorites from the last two Worship Under the Stars concerts, a great Christmas set, and an incredible opening time with musician/singer/writer, McKendree Augustas Tucker.
The only charge is the $3.00 per car parking fee … so it’s the best $3 you could spend.
Pray for me – I’ve still been battling some crud, and have had fever the last two days … my back hurts, blah, blah, blah. I need some super grace!

Will be in faith with you for your health and for a tremendous anointing over the concert! Was good to have you and your precious family home over the Thanksgiving holidays!
Thanks, Dad … as always, it blesses my heart to have a great Dad in the natural and in the faith to pop in and I know you’ve got me covered, always!

Bless you bro. Hope you have a great time and just prayed for you. Go give them Jesus!!!! Much Love.
Sounds cool. I hope you get better soon. Our family’s been trying to get over a cold too. It’s not fun when your two month old baby has a cold (that would be our son).
How was it?? I heard from some friends it was rockin but wanted to hear what the you had to say!
Hey,
It was awesome, thanks! Lots of fun. We had to cut our set short, but other than that, it was a fun night.
