We interrupt this blog for a public service announcement:

Bo Mann, Children’s Media & Ministry Director at St. Simons Community Church has now joined the blog-o-sphere. Bo is a super dude and is a blast to have on staff. He’s also the character who snuck in some video footage on this weeks’ Worship Confessional, confessing that “Fred is so lame”.

Bo was the Associate Tech Director when I was hired in March 2007, but stepped down shortly afterwards to spend some time in missions training in Africa. He’s since returned and re-joined the team creating multimedia for the Children’s Ministry (how cool is that, the Kid’s Ministry has their own full-time tech/media guy!) and assisting Deb Kay in children’s ministry.

So … please help Bo with his launch of bomann.wordpress.com – surf on over, leave a comment and give him some love. If I send him a lot of links and traffic today, I’ll be able to lord it over him all week. They jokingly call me “blog boy” at the office, but with Bo on board now, and if you readers do it right and flood him with visits and comments, I’ll just insist that Bo becomes “blog boy” and I’ll become the “blog father”.
