Blogging Marathons

Posted on February 24th, 2008 in Old-General by Fred McKinnon

Hey Gang,

So … I know I’ve been busy. I know I’ve not posted enough “good content” blogs. I know this blog has been more about my son, Andrew, and a few other items lately, instead of worship leading stuff. I know.

Furthermore, I know I haven’t been reading as many blogs or keeping up. Google Reader says I have 410+ unread blogs. And that’s only half as many as WorshipCity.

Alas, once again I’ll declare RSS Bankruptcy. I haven’t even been able to read my own brother’s blog. That’s not good. (Sorry Rob).

So, as I declare bankruptcy once again, I thought I’d give a recap of the Top 10 Blog Marathon Runners – those dudes (or dudettes) who seem to have plenty of time to crank out more blogs than I can keep up with.

Note – if you are on this list – it’s not because I read everyone else’s but not yours .. it’s just that you win the hero cookie for blogging the most. Or maybe I read from my phone and didn’t clear it in Google Reader.

  1. Tony Morgan (38 unread posts) – always good stuff, hate to mark’em read .. but gotta clear it out/
  2. ProBlogger Tips (35 unread posts)
  3. WorshipCity (28 unread posts)
  4. Consuming Worship (27 unread posts)
  5. Chris from Canada (23 unread posts)
  6. BigTelicious Speaks (20 unread posts)
  7. The Wonderful Noise (19 unread posts)
  8. For the Journey (19 unread posts)
  9. Swerve – LifeChurch.tv (16 unread posts)
  10. Ragamuffin Soul (16 unread posts)

Man, I know I’ve hit these sites within the last week – so that’s like as many as 5+ blogs PER DAY for some of these guys!?

So confession time … who’s clogging up your RSS Reader?

Fred
