She said YES

A decade ago …. 10 years back …
We were in the prayer chapel next to the river at Epworth By the Sea …. I took a knee, unwrapped a diamond ring on a platinum band, and with all my heart asked her to be my wife forever, to marry me. No recital, no concert, no speaking engagement, no stage has ever found me as nervous and excited at the same time.
She was caught off guard – she was not expecting it … but praise God, it only took her a couple of seconds to say YES.
10 years ago ….
4 kids later …
and she’s still amazing.
March 24, 1998 – Engaged to be married on August 15, 1998.
I pray that God gives us the wonderful privilege to celebrate our 10 years of marriage in 5 months.

Selfishly, I’d ask today “how ’bout stopping and offering a prayer for our marriage, for our family, and for God to continue blessing our lives, marriage, and home”.
