Evolution of Dance in FamJam
Posted on April 17th, 2008 in Church Life by Fred McKinnonHey Ya’ll,
In my previous post, I talked about how we’re moving FamJam to only 1-week per month (1st Sundays). A couple of weeks ago, we had one of the funniest moments in FamJam I’ve ever seen. Two of our cast members, “Vinny” (a “thinks he’s cool” dude with a Bronx accent who is the tough guy, and super-funny) and his best friend, “Gordo” (a super-nerdo guy with high waters and broken, nerdy glasses) are entering the big dance contest. They later discover that although they were awesome, they didn’t win the dance contest, and had to demonstrate the month’s “virtue”, which is “joy”.
So, “Vinny” and “Gordo” choose to do a spoof on the “Evolution of Dance” for their entry into the FamJam Dance Contest.
(note, the audio is pretty low, but still enough to laugh hysterically). Special thanks to the faithful, never-stop-giving volunteers that make FamJam and KidJam happen at SSCC, including our own John Ruggles (Vinny) and Brian Keene (Gordo).
I’m posting this as part of the “Creative Chaos” element over at RagamuffinSoul.Com
Enjoy!
