Every time I hear this story I am amazed at how easily we "pass off" something that is eternal and vital to life as a "random thought" or something like that. I will never forget getting a call from my friend, Tammy, who lived in Statesboro and knew Joy. I was in Dallas, TX at the time. She told me about Joy, thinking that I knew her. Joy had come to Statesboro after I left, but I knew her brother Mark and his wife Zandy so I told Tammy of course I would be praying for this girl, Joy! Who knew at that time that I was praying for my future sister-in-law! God is indeed amazing, isn't He!!! And what a privilege it was to pray for her.
