Wonder What it’s Like to Get …
Posted on June 17th, 2008 in Cool Stuff, Technology by Fred McKinnonYour ears filled with foam?
That’s what I did last week during the Willow Creek Arts Conference. Travis called me as I was leaving my last session on Thursday to inform me that they had an audiologist on hand doing free in-ear impressions at the Sensaphonics booth.
So, since I’ve been saying I was going to get custom in-ear molds made for my Shure E5′s for 3+ years, I finally thought it was too easy to say “no”. The impressions were free, and the actual cost of the silicone custom-fit in-ear molds were cheaper than usual, so I should have fully custom fit molds for my IEM in 4-5 weeks.
Chris is always around with a camera, so he happened to take some video.

Is this gross or what? Seriously, I couldn’t hear ANYTHING when she did that.
Anyone else out there using custom molds?
