Had to peep in on homeschooling. We are in our ninth year. Our oldest graduated and was awarded a full scholarship. I’ll never go back. Of course… I do have rare moments of fantasy, as thinking I’ll be 56 when our last one graduates!

I’d be more than happy to answer any questions. I have family in GA that homeschools as well. I’m always available. Oh, gues I should mention I do a little more than homeschool, I’m an administrator of a homeschool here in Alabama.

Fred, as much as it may pain me to say it, my universal expression of unhappiness, as anyone who knows me closely will tell you is (and I have two of them) “SNOT!” and “SNOTRAG!”

By the way, I’ve never liked the “sorry, play again” thing. I think what most of them mean is “sorry, loser!” That’s kinda the way they make you feel (I have been drawn into many of those contests and yet somehow I still play – talk about consumerism at it’s finest!).

Fred, having just had the privilege and blessing of an overnighter with your family – I have heard the “toe hurt” and can really appreciate Will’s plan re the yogurt! He is the man with the plan. In case you don’t know – my (and your Dad’s) favorite expression of unhappiness is “you know what THAT is”. Would you care to explain that to your readers??????????

Hello Friday!
Latelast night,(technically Friday), I was trying to catch up on some schoolwork. Overdue. Deadline stuff. My three shih tzus just wanted to sit in my lap while I was typing. So, I had these three little dogs, each one claiming a place by my knees, jumping up and down and lightly scratching to “get up” . I could not get them to stop! So I went to the kitchen and took out a box of Organic Gorilla Peanutbutter flavored “Kix-like” cereal, and began to hand feed them the goodies one at a time. When they became interested enough in this confection, I took a couple handfulls and just threw them across the floor. All three of them SCRAMBLED! Kept them busy about 45 minutes; long enough.

Here’s the strangest thing about these dogs. Dolly Brady and Jojo.
Dolly is the mom. Brady is the hubby. Jojo is one of their puppies, now 2 yrs old.
If I call Jojo to “come here” , he always checks in with Dolly first. If I call Dolly, she comes right to me, but if my son calls her, she checks in with me and runs to me instead.
Brady is the best. he just sits there until I call Brady over and over. But if I say “Good Boy” he bolts to me! I think I’ve actually trained him to think his name is Good Boy!

Anytime anything bad happens to anyone in the family we blame it on Jackmus. Jackmus is the unseen person who has come to “jack you up” or make your life miserable. If you fall and scrape your knee, Jackmus got you. Pastor fussed at you for no reason, Jackmus was there. Bulletins were printed backwards, guess who? Jackmus.

That’s hilarious about the Trix Yogurt. When I was there Andrew, the youngest, was running around chanting “Twix Yogut, Twix Yogut, Twix Yogut”…

I think your kids might need a yogurt intervention

My universal expression of unhappiness is…”Poo Monkeys” – No clue why or where it came from.
