		<description>Ed,
Wow, what an amazing response. I wanted to personally reply and let you know that as an &quot;unbeliever&quot; (as you put it), you are welcome here ANY TIME.

<description>I simply worship life. As a non-believer my interpretation of the word worship may be different but worshiping life is for me as important as worshiping God is to Christians.

Music has also been a big part of my life. I feed off it&#039;s energy, it&#039;s lyrics speak to so many interesting stories I can learn about life from.

We are all worship leaders. If we do not lead our lives by the faith we say we believe in than it doesn&#039;t make much difference what words we say, or what music we play. I don&#039;t write songs, or play an instrument. I do try to face the world with a smile. A smile can convey a message as well as a song can.

I worship life by seeing the beauty in every living thing. I rejoice in seeing a flower growing out of a concrete road. I rejoice in seeing the birth of life, be it my nieces baby, a baby spider or the new buds on a tree. My cathedral is the sun, the moon and the stars.

I try to teach by showing love and respect for my neighbors, something I will admit I have not always succeeded at. Helping other people in their struggles, the poor, the sick and the depressed, is the best way to teach the value of love and respect, something else I do not spend enough time at.

Every day when I read about the all too many wars in the world my faith in people is challenged. When I see the homeless on the streets, the young people selling their bodies to survive, it challenges my respect for the human race.

The most important challenge I face is to do more to bring help break down the barriers of racism, religion and nationality that divide the people of my world. My faith is that people working together, one to one, can overcome any problem. When we break down these barriers that separate us we will see how much we have in common. We will learn to settle our disputes through peaceful negotiations not war. It might take 1,000 years or more, but I believe it can happen.

I believe the human race is a work in progress. I see enough evidence that we are evolving to sustain my faith. In reading the headlines in the news I can understand why most people look to another source for their faith.
