SSCC – Cardboard Testimonies

Hey Eveyrone,
We finally released our own edition of “Cardboard Testimonies”. It’s here on our church’s site, and Jay (who played electric guitar, and is the bald dude who happens to be in the cam shot most of the time because of where he was placed on stage!) also posted on his. I’m sure all of us staffers will be sharing it … the more people to see, the better.
The set in the background was our “ESPN’ish” Sports Center set for our “Get in the Game” series. The song is “How He Loves Us” by John Mark McMillan.
These are OUR testimonies.

Fred, thanks for sharing. We are doing this on Sunday for our 10th Anniversary and when we rehearsed last night I just cried and cried – it really is powerful. And yet so simple! Pray for us as we do this.
The church staff must have had a meeting to question who might be the best looking guy to hold in the shot the longest. My wife agrees with the outcome. I think they should have used Larry Wade, myself.

Seriously, I loved this when I first saw it, and I loved that more because I feel some connection to SSCC. I was thinking of doing this with our kids ministry around Christmas.

My Jesus! Fred… Thank you for posting this on your blog. I hope it is ok but I have already begun plans to do this here in Baton Rouge, LA. We do a coffee house every month and going to do it there as well. So many people in this area will be effected and changed!… I know it! I am so moved and touched. Crying my eyeballs out!

Ok Fred, I was there for this service. Bawled like a baby that day and as I watched again this morning it was no different. I have to admit, I dont think I even heard the words to the song you played on that Sunday but as I sat here and watched and listened to the words it was even more touching. Thank you for posting this Fred!
