Hey Everybody -
It’s “FreePlay Friday” … time to break off and talk about whatever we want. For all you “RSS’ers” out there, if you’re reading this in your RSS Reader, please click here to view today’s content and comment.
Today – I thought I’d share a short clip of one of my favorite holiday clips. Yep – it’s a Christmas clip, and yep, I’m going there already.
On Sunday, Dec 21 I’ll be playing the role of “Shroeder” in “A Charlie Brown Christmas” for our FamJam “Jingle Jam” that evening. I can’t wait. “Charlie Brown Christmas” has to be one of my favorite Christmas shows of all time.
Over the last few years they’ve started rolling a new 30-minute show of “shorts” after it … and some of them are quite hilarious.
I present to you one of our favorites (our, being my whole family – the kids laugh so hard they hurt all over) … where “ReRun” has a bone to pick with ole Santa Fancy Claus.
So what are some of YOUR favorite holiday shows? (we just missed the Great Pumpkin, BTW)

I have 2 favorites at Christmastime, I always cry like a baby at the ending of both: “It’s A Wonderful Life” – the original B&W. And “White Christmas”- The orginal B&W version also. I think my favorite childrens’ Christmas program would have to be the original “Mr. Grinch!” Have a Very Blessed Holiday Season!!

We love the Grinch. Joy’s favorite spot is when the little dog falls under the sled, and when the Grinch turns around, he’s riding on the back and he does this cute little smile and wave.
Talk about crying … for some reason, Polar Express does it to me everytime. I think it’s the kid in me, loving that last scene!

I love the Charlie Brown Christmas. I could quote Luke 2 at a very early age because of that show.
Every year I wait in anticipation for “A Christmas Story.” You either love that movie or hate it.

I take this moment to let all who read this know that, though this is one of my little brother’s favorites, his REAL favorite is A Christmas Story. He knows the whole movie – line by line.
Fred, you’ll shoot your eye out. But may all your presents be genuine red-rider BB guns!

My dad will watch the entire “A Christmas Story” marathon. We’re big fans of the old school story of Rudolph and then the original Grinch.
I’m already listening to my holiday channel on Pandora.
As I write, my favorite came on… “Carol of the Bells” by George Winston.

Fred, Every Christmas, I always think (and laugh) about watching “A Christmas Story” with you in the ‘Boro. It is my all-time favorite Christmas movie as well, with “It’s a Wonderful Life” running a close second. “Elf” and “The Grinch” also get a lot of play in our house every year.

Charlie brown. It’s fun to watch sometimes. I have to watch “It’s a wonderful life.” Every year when I was growing up it was on but not anymore. Solution: I bought the DVD.
