Inspiring Worship – One Artist (Non-Worship)
Posted on February 19th, 2009 in Worship Leadership by Fred McKinnon
Hey Everybody,
Today we’ll complete the “Inspiring Worship – 1″ series.
Monday: One Song that inspires worship
Tuesday: One Thing that inspires worship (non-musical)
Wednesday: One Art Form that inspires worship (non-musical)
Today – what is one “musical” artist (ie. singer, band, musician) that inspires you to worship. Here’s the catch … it CANNOT be a Worship Leader or “Christian” band. I would go so far to say as “non-Christian”, but we don’t always know whether an artist is/isn’t a true Christian.
I wanna hear from you today – so chime in!

I really do like Keane as well! I find myself listening mostly to secular bands and then worship like hillsong, desperation band, Phil Wickham and Jason Morant are also good ones. But not really much CCM. Maybe that’s because the Christian radio stations play the same 5 bands on rotation. I seem to connect with God more through those two. I know that there are
great mainstream Christian bands out there. I guess I just get worn out with lack of variety. On a side note, Anybody having writers block? I seem to be stuck in the same 4 chord pergression.
