It's easy to remember to obey in our tithes and in our actions, the way we treat people, the kind of witness we are...because those things are taught all the time. But taking care of ourselves, presenting our bodies as a living sacrifice to a Holy God...thank you for the reminder. I know exactly what you’re saying, and I commend you for acting in obedience in an area that we sometimes forget about. I totally agree with the verses you listed. I had 40+ years of treating my body like a slum instead of the temple of the Holy Spirit that God intended. I've gotten better at it, but it's still a battle, every day. Keep up the good fight, and be comforted in the fact that the sore muscles are a sign that what you're doing is working!
