Sunday Setlists #72 – Worship Service Recaps #sundaysetlists

My Worship Confessional for SSCC
Good services today. Both services felt heavy, somewhat disconnected from the get-go. Maybe it was just me! Maybe it was the colder, dreary weather. Maybe people were just tired. Or more likely, it was a spiritual fog … you could feel it. Nevertheless, we had a good day and I’m sure lives were challenged and changed for the Kingdom.
Walk In:
“Gloria/In Excelsis Deo” (Mercy Me)
Opening Song:
“Glory to God Forever” (Fee/Beeching)
Middle Worship Set:
“O Come All Ye Faithful”
“Agnus Dei”
“Hosanna”
I moved to the piano on the middle set and enjoyed a more acoustic sound. Russ Hutto moved from acoustic guitar to cover keyboard/strings, and Kimbo, our electric guitarist, moved over to acoustic – so we had no electric at all. Personally, I liked the arrangements a lot!
Closing Song:
The Glorious Impossible (Cartee)
This song fit perfectly with the new sermon series, “Just Like Us” as we study the reality of Jesus being fully God, yet fully human.
Share Your Worship Service Recap:
OK, so whether you led the service or just attended – here’s your chance to share your worship service recap! If you use Twitter, be sure and include the #sundaysetlists hashtag and your tweets will appear in our “Twub“. See the most current info here:

My favorite part of the worship was your story about putting up Christmas lights
I love honesty. When we are weak HE is strong. Praise God for that!
Tracie,
Yeah, some say it’s suicide to be “real” … but I think authenticity and transparency are key to really being able to connect w/ those you lead.
