Video Blog: Be Still (A Message from Fred McKinnon)

Well, my intended 3-minute message turned into 7-minutes.  Not uncommon for me.    Hope this speaks to you.  Pass it on.

We’re in Christmas Season 2009 … and it’s often the busiest and craziest time of the year. Chaos and insanity is how it feels as we run wild shopping, attending parties, dealing with special church services, etc. Here’s my thoughts ….

    Well timed Fred. Some are chaotic…others are scared. No job. No prospects. But they do have Christ Jesus. And we hear Him in the stillness and quiet of moments alone. You’re right…pull away for a few moments and remember…Emmanuel…God with us!

    Fred, I really needed that this morning. While I honestly haven’t been all that busy, I’ve just been neglectful of yielding myself to quiet moments with the Lord.

    I’m undone here this morning as I’ve listened to what you had to say, then just let God invade my space as you continued to play the keys at the end of the post. I’m in a different place than I was 20 minutes ago.

    Thanks brother. I appreciate you taking the time to minister to the rest of us out of what God’s ministered to you.
