Haiti Update Appeal from Compassion International President, Wes Stafford
Posted on January 16th, 2010 in Events, Faith by Fred McKinnonAs you know, I’m an Advocate for Compassion International. We have a sponsored child in Tanzania, Africa and were in the process of selecting a child in Haiti when the earthquake happened. Compassion is there, updating through their Facebook, Twitter, and Blog pages.
Below is a video from President Wes Stafford. This shows the heart and vision of Compassion and is a personal update from Wes. For those of you who have sponsored children in Haiti, you will definitely want to see this video.
In a bit of GOOD NEWS, one of the Compassion US staff, Dan Woolley, was rescued yesterday after being trapped in an elevator shaft for 60+ hours at the “Hotel Montana” in Haiti. Dan had just arrived in Haiti with a contractor team for the Child Survival Projects (CSP).
