A sabbatical-style getaway for 3 days of rest, solitude, recreation, worship, and encouragement. For those who want to rediscover that “still, small voice”. For those who are weary from the trials of leading. For those who are desperate for inspiration and vision. Designed for those in ministry but available to anyone from Pastors, Worship Leaders, Executives, to Stay-At-Home Moms.

It would be awesome to have you join us. I hope to have the details “published” on a site soon. It won’t be your typical “equipping” retreat … with a packed schedule full of back-to-back speaker/sessions. This is a time to pull away, get in a GORGEOUS environment, and be encouraged, and placed in a position where you can more easily hear that still, small voice! I CAN’T WAIT!!

Maybe in the next few weeks I can give you the opportunity to offer me a “taste” of what that will feel like. I need an experience like that right now. I’ve been dry for some time now. But, like John Bevere wrote about . . . There is Victory in the Wilderness.

Would be honored to have you … and you better believe it, I know the stress on Moms! And sometimes, I know Mom’s need to hear God, and know that in the midst of their ministry at home, that God is still there, with great plans for their lives.

Don’t have a firm grasp on the $ details yet, this isn’t the cheapest place for lodging, but the views make it worth it – we’ll keep registration as low as possible!

Fred, just a thought: Is it possible to have families adopt families for that weekend? Talk about southern hospitality! Of course, it could be a logistical nightmare, but it would save $$$ for those attending and show off the St Simons hospitality to an extreme. Again, just a thought.

That’s a great thought … I’ll pass it on to those “logistical/detail” folks who are going to help pull this event off … perhaps there is a way. Of course, lodging off the island is a good bit cheaper – not quite the same vibe, but there will be options.
