Do you ever ask God questions?

Does He answer you?

If He does answer – do you hear?

How do you know it’s God speaking?

These are questions I like to ponder.  It stems from this Facebook convo happening this morning about my frustration over conflicting weather forecasts.  (thanks for the blog tip, Tracie!)

For me, the answer do those questions is:
Yes, Yes, Yes, and “sometimes I am not so sure!”

Bottom Line:  I wish I were in such a place spiritually where my communion with God was so incredible that asking Him a question like “God, will it rain in McRae this weekend while we’re trying to camp in tents” and to hear His answer, without any doubts.

But more often than not, I hear lots of voices answering the question.  I’m pretty sure that one of those voices is God’s voice … but there are plenty others, including my own, natural reasoning.

Can it really be that simple?  Maybe.  Maybe not.

Hey Gang,

So, as of sometime last night or this morning … we’ve moved up.  Up to a new server.  Our own, private one.  Seems as if our sites were getting too much traffic so our web host needed us to kindly “move servers”.

The site has been sluggish and slow, I’ve been waking up to tons of mySQL database connection error warnings in my email box, etc … so I decided to take the plunge and get a private server.

So here we are.  Hopefully, this blog, TheWorshipCommunity.Com, and our other sites will be loading faster-than-ever.

So, can you hear me now?
