Hello Friends!

It’s good to be back in the studio.  Due to a power supply problem I wasn’t able to record this week until today (Wednesday).   I usually like to star the week off with some time in the studio but Monday didn’t work out.

So here we are, midweek, and it’s late afternoon.   Last night I got home about 9:00 PM and decided to just spend a little time decompressing outside.   It was an amazingly gorgeous evening here in South Georgia.  It was still in the low 80s but the sky was clear and the stars were as bright as ever.  There was a breeze flirting through the trees.   As I lay down on the lounge by our pool and listened to the sounds of nature I began to unwind and feel a sense of peace.  I listened to crickets and a lone bullfrog across the street.  I felt and heard the sound of the wind easing through the trees.   I watched the twinkling of the stars and gazed in wonder at the jetliners above me in the sky, lights flashing, off to their destinations.

It was sweet.  It was good.  My phone was inside and there was nothing to distract me.   That was a beautiful moment.

Today I hope I can bring a beautiful moment for you as you listen to this interlude.  Perhaps you are using this for prayer, meditation, or just for a few short minutes of rest and relaxation.   I pray that it is a blessing to you and allows you to draw closer to our Creator.
