I also love both Apple & Google, though in the rest of the world the iPhone carrier issue is a non-issue (especially here in Australia) since we can get an iPhone on any network we like.
But I’m curious about the Nexus One (only just made available here last week) and will definitely think next time I come to upgrade my phone. As long as Apple “allows” excellent Google integration on iPhone, I’ll not change without some really compelling reason.
Posted my mini confessionalonbehalfoftheteam… I was up in the mountains this weekend, and haven’t yet been able to catch up with the team since I got home.
The Oz perspective (our national day is January 26, btw). There’s not a strong heritage in any denomination to sing patriotic songs in church, mainly because there’s not a strong heritage to sing patriotic songs in Australia in general (most of us struggle to know the words to the national anthem).
And, most of our patriotic songs are a little naff anyway, quite apart from the Christian ones (like Great Southland of the Holy Spirit…mega naffness right there, despite great thoughts in the lyric. Just not well executed)
Our lyrics are presented at the bottom of the screen, with live video of the team on camera. We don’t use title pages, and as we might play with arrangements a bit, doing the first/last slide thing can look messy, so it was better just to put it everywhere.
Definitely identify with yours Fred, and also Travis
But what I dislike the most is the priority juggling…having deadlines changed and that causing everything else to have to be rearranged as well.
To a certain extent, that comes back to trying to please everyone, but mostly it’s just that I don’t like having to go back on my word because of external factors.
Inception - My Questions, Your Thoughts?
July 30th, 2010 at 4:27 PMI’ve only seen it the once, and being a Christopher Nolan uberfan I need to see it again, but … I think you’re right James.
Apple or Google?
March 8th, 2010 at 8:47 AMWow, you’re behind on Chrome Fred

Fair Tax in the Bible?
September 23rd, 2009 at 8:46 AMLet’s not forget Luke 20: 20-26 in this though…
Fact is, none of us, regardless of nation, are living in a country that is based solely on Kingdom principles…which was the basis for OT Israel.
It would be great to live in a country where God’s economy was the only economy though huh
