Thanks for sharing Fred! Sounds like things are really going well for you these days. Scheduling is always a challenge – good to know that others are working through it just like me.
I ditto the spiritual food thought. Since I posted my weight confessional almost three weeks ago, the word has come alive in new and fresh ways for me. Things seem very clear to me right now- scary, but I know He is working in some fresh ways for me. Keep it up bro!
Hey man – this is an awesome start! Just doing this twice a week is definitely SOMETHING. Yeah, it takes a total makeover of life change to really get fit, but small steps add up. Take it from a guy who’s lost and re-gained the weight equal to a couple of super-models over the last decade. I always got discouraged when I got “off” the plan.
Now, the plan is to make a life change and not just diet. Dieting is a sport that is as risky as russian roulette and no one wins.
Stick with it man. Looking forward to the journey together and celebrating what God will do as we gather again next February!
Fred – Sound’s like you had a great service – I love the variety in your instrumentation yesterday.
I think we’ve all had those moments where nothing seems to work. Yet I’ve always found that God uses those moments to glorify Himself and reveal more of His power to me.

I Almost Died This Morning
April 29th, 2009 at 3:13 PMFred,
Something is happening this week across the country regarding fitness. Some may attribute it to spring, but I think God is moving.
I pray for strength for both of our journeys.
