Redneck Worship Leader – Deer 3 vs Fred 0
Written by Fred McKinnon on October 31, 2009 – 3:13 PM -You probably can’t hear me whispering in this video … but what you CAN see is a beautiful spot in Telfair County that I hunted this weekend. I didn’t see any deer at all … not even a single wild hog, and there are tons of them out there.
I enjoyed some incredible times of solitude and beauty, though!

Redneck Worship Leader: True Story Tuesday?
Written by Fred McKinnon on May 20, 2009 – 8:02 PM -So, sometimes I post things about the “other side of me” … the real side, that good ole’ boy who grew up in the sticks. “I can skin a buck and run a trotline, and a country boy can survive”. (actually the Pastor who hired me for my first full-time position said he was looking for a guy who could do those things, no kidding, right Craig?)
Anyway, so in my hometown of McRae, GA – we had to find things to do on the weekends. Today I stumbled across a blog that I didn’t even know existed. Well, I wouldn’t say “stumbled across” … I was summoned there after hearing about it on FaceBook.
I can’t imagine who the “Fred” is in this supposed “True Story Tuesday” post … but I ain’t saying nothing.
Check it out, and tell me what YOU think. In the meantime, I just think I’ll share some of my own “true” stories of my own, personal Mayberry. Is anyone out there interested in some good ole’ stories?
