Hey Everybody,

60 weeks.  That’s how long we’ve been posting recaps of our worship services here at FredMcKinnon.Com and across the internet.  A place for creativity, a place for networking, a place to talk about what worked, what didn’t, what we learned, what we missed … welcome … to “Sunday Setlists”.

My Worship Confessional for SSCC

Walk In:  “Beautiful One” (Tim Hughes)
An older song, I’ve never really led it but have always liked the song – it had been done in previous years at SSCC, so it wasn’t really “new” to the group.

Opening Songs:
“Glory to God Forever” (Fee/Beeching)
We’ve done this twice in the past month as a “walk in” – it was time to put it in the regular part of the service.  Went over very well, and will be the closer at our “night of worship” next Sunday evening!

“Everlasting God”

Communion Set:
“You Gave Your Life Away”
“Lead Me to the Cross”
“Mighty is the Power of the Cross”

Here’s a look at our “Twub” for those of you who use Twitter.  Be sure and tag your blogs, pics, and videos with the #sundaysetlists hashtag:

That’s a wrap for us.  Time for you to share your worship setlists!  Remember, make sure your URL is the full URL to your blog post, and not your blog’s homepage.  Pretty please.

God is good, His love endures forever. We had a good weekend. I actually led children’s worship for the first time in a long while and that was fun. This list is from the big church.

While not exactly a textbook Sunday setlist post, we had a fire at church during the service, and it could have been way way worse than it was. God was in the house and his protection was very clear!

  14. I am late posting, because last night was spent leading a young lady into new life in Christ…
    Yea God!

  15. Al Dancy says:

Great set this week. Thanks again for sharing and making this available to all of us.

It was big day for us yesterday.

  17. Bj Collins says:

This weekend we rolled out the new Matt Redman song, “How Great Is Your Faithfulness” at both of my churches. The song was warmly received, and we will play it again next weekend as well. You’ve got to love 6/8 worship songs, and I really like the chorus of this one. I just posted a link to this week’s worship report.

  18. Took some time away after a very busy Sunday. Just got back to the “connected world” this evening.

    Have a great week everyone!
    …Randy

  19. Ellen Prohl says:

Glory to God Forever… I’d like to try that song!

  20. Kyle says:

Another big weekend for us, our community is growing, rolled out membership. Man big changes and so far it’s all been good. God is showing us grace is a big big way.

  21. Yes it is Wednesday, but at least I showed up!
